RDS required a free standing pallet destacker for their site in Westmeath, Ireland. Blackstar have previously supplied a number of destackers to RDS over the years, it was this previous job satisfaction & strong working relationship that encouraged RDS to once again get in contact with Blackstar.
The line at Westmeath uses different pallet sizes of 1200×800 & 1200×1000, Blackstar manufactured and supplied their destacker with motorised fork in/out operations. This way the forks can move in and out to fit the different pallet sizes enabling it to work efficiently on the existing line.
The de-stacker was completed and delivered to the customer on time again further continuing the relationship between RDS and Blackstar.
Blackstar’s recommendation was based on low energy and maintenance. with soaring energy costs we welcomed a cost saving solution.
